Clean lines
You know, I'm all for stripes, but sometimes it's nice to really see how clean and pretty the lines are on these B-Bodies...especially like mine, lol.
This is a great example on a nice car.

....and now that I think about it, I bought a Suzuki Katana years ago that was a metalflake blue. It had no stripes or stickers at all, and I always got comments on it. The lines were clean and it just looked great. It had a black tank bra with "KATANA" embossed on it on top in front of the seat and that was the only emblem. OK, a bit off topic, but you know how memories can sneak up on you.

Wow, your thoughts mirror mine exactly. There's a red one over on cardomain and I've always maintained that the '73-'74 cars somehow look meaner without the stripes. Mine has the stripes and it's green, yet someone said it looked like the Starsky 'n Hutch car
I think the only combination I DO like is an all black '73-'74 with the white stripes. I might go all black and do a reflective black stripe, that might look bad-ass and subtle. But I may just do the bird and "road runner" lettering decals, redundant or not, and go stripeless.
The lack of a stripe really makes the area behind the rear quarter window look very vertical, somehow looking mean, if that makes sense.
Hey, since I'm babbling, how about an all black car and put on the Sundance decals? Is that an abominations since mine's a Road Runner? Probably, but might be the best combo out there!
