RTS stripe, wheels.....UPDATE PICS!!!!!

Post by landon1 » Sun Mar 16, 2008 1:36 pm

well, got the striping done and wheels done...only have pice in the garage, so i'll get some pics outside so you can see it :D

think i'm going to take off the satellite emblems so i can make the stripe thicker like the RTS car, as it seems kinda "dainty" something to do next weekend...more masking adn striping...in additino to hopefully my billet electronic distributor - cap should be arriving shortly

idk...i considered painting the bumpers black....but i have the black taillamp stripes, so i think i'm just going to try thickening up the stripe other than above the wheelwells, as it seems kinda thin, but i definitely like it (VERY 1971 lol :D )and i LOVE the black wheels...if my tires weren't so dirty they'd look even better.

the blue is Intense Blue Pearl (factory dodge color) but i had a bunch more pearl added to it, so when it's wet it has a purple and green tint to it and it kinda changes color. The car is pretty photogenic though, as i have some orange peel i started buffing out....it really isn't too bad to get out, actually

and yup i'm from good ol' iowa...originally from boone, but now i live in ankeny (one more reason for black wheels when you dont have a garage to keep the car in)
