Are the RR emblems for the 72 the same as the 69 RR emblems? Someone sad that the 72's are stick on. If so, where is the cheapest palce to get them? If they are the same with teh pegs on the back, I need some good pics so that I can see where the holes need to be drilled.

They stick on. I do not know if anyone reproduces them. I have a extra set of Satellite emblems if you are interested.

If your talking about this emblem, they have pins. I bought mine off eBay, they didn't cost to much (around $50 for both sides shipped "buy it now"). I looked and looked and this was the closest placement I could find. If its wrong I really don't want to know. LoL

IIRC the stripe and decal placement sheets show where these go. Check out the factory documentation over on Barry Washington's website.
71s had pins and I assume 72s were the same. Don't buy the repros from year one, they're way wrong in appearance.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

I have a few nice sets off of a 69........I believe they are the same. Are the birds the same as a 69? I think so

Were you talking about my RR emblems? Every RR I see on the internet has them right there. Am I wrong? Now I'm worried. LoL

I checked it out, and you are right. 1971 has the emblems higher in kinda a random spot. 1972 has them lower about where mine are. Once again I am no expert, I am only going off picture's i find on the net.

How do these look for placement on a 72 RR. These are the original holes.
