Currently on my Roadrunner I have a six pack coil bracket to which you are refering. Attached is an older pic of the coil bracket and the fuel line running along the inside of the valve cover and feeding from the back.

both look pretty good. never thought about running the fuel line so that it hooks up at the back instead of the front...looks like i'll be visiting the scrap pile, cutting wheel, grinder, and drill press soon

How does it run? I mean have you ever had any problems with vapor lock?

It runs great, never had and problems with vapor lock. Usually vapor lock occurs on the suction side of the pump. I am using the stock mechanical pump and the routing of the suction line from the tank is stock.
