1971 Road Runner body panel gaps???

Post by moparmusclecars » Sun May 19, 2013 1:43 pm

What were the original door to quarter panel, door to fender, fender to hood gaps on a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner? I am lining up panels, and would like to make sure I am close to factory specs. Anyone have this information? Thanks!

I wonder how many of these cars actually came from the factory at "factory specs".

Exactly. I think you just have to balance what looks good with what works. Scott.

I was looking at my Body Service Manual and the only thing said is that the gaps need to be even. This was talking about the fender in regards to the door side, door top, and cowl.
