I've got a 74 Roadrunner w/360, I'm replacing the factory distributor with MSD Standard Pro Billet Mechanical advance distributor, here's the problem, i cant get the distributor to drop in, the rotor does not match up with original mark. Any suggestions??

Well, assuming they sent you the correct one, compare the length of the shaft to your stock one.
Compare the "screwdriver" end on the shaft to your stock one.
If these match, take the oil pump drive out of the block, and see if it'll drop in.
If it drops in, see if the end fits the slot on your o.p. drive.
I'm also assuming you're following the F.S.M. procedure for lining everything up?
Let us know the result.
Good luck!
