Pin on glass hood on 71

I have this glass hood with a 6 pak style scoop molded in I want to use.
I have brackets for the rear pins but not sure how to mount it.
Seems the pins would be too short to go up through the hood.

Any one have pics of this type of set up?

I have a hood like that on my race car and we just drilled through the plenum and mounted the pins that way.

I recently switched my car over to a 6 pack liftoff hood. I'll see if i can get some pics. I don't have brackets, I mounted the pins on the firewall.
