Hello to Roadrunner Nest Members!
Dear All,
First of all, I wanted to say hello to everyone and Thank You for allowing me to be a member of the Roadrunner Nest. My interest and passion began with my father, as he owned a 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner from 1972 to 1984. I knew that when sold the vehicle, he always wanted an opportunity to one day get another Roadrunner.
In May of this year, my father confirmed this interest and told me that he was ready to purchase a Roadrunner; hopefully similar to his old one. During a tedious search to find the correct car (numbers matching, etc), we did find a 1972 and he was able to purchase.
When my Dad told me that he was again looking to get a Roadrunner, I of course started to see if I could find out what happened to his old one. I know this is a shot in the dark question, but does anyone happen to know any history of: RM23P2R144514.
The history I know of the vehicle is that my father sold it in 1984 to Max Grant. The sales point was in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Max passed away a few years later, so it is difficult to know what happened to the vehicle. I haven't given up, I am still trying to get more details about Mr. Grant through the public library so I might be able to contact surviving family members so see if I can continue to trace the vehicle. I figured I would ask here to see if I could establish any leads.
Thanks again for allowing me to become a member; this is an awesome site and a great forum for communication and discussion. I hope to include pictures soon of my father's '72.
Thanks again,
Steve

Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.
