Radiator Fan Shroud

Post by 74roadbird » Mon Aug 01, 2011 8:32 pm

This was part of my other post (Windshield) that you guys helped with. I have a Champion 22" 3-core aluminum radiator that I need a shroud for. If the mounting holes in "stock" style shrouds are 22" across they are 12 3/4 top to bottom. Any I have seen that are 15 1/4 top to bottom seem to be for 29" across. Anybody have any leads? By the way, I found a divorced choke that should work out. 2 out of 3 ain't bad, if it were a song.

73-later b-bodies came with optional 28" rads. Maybe a shroud from one of those wold work.

About that shroud on E-bay. The post states that it is for a big block and the mounting holes measure 12 1/4`inches x 26 inches apart. I just measured two shrouds from 318 cars and got the same measurements. Both shrouds are from air conditioned cars. I was wondering if they were inter-changeable with the one on E-bay or what.
