i just got a solid dash insert (no ac vents). it has a charger emblem on it, how do i get it off with out breaking it? i got a road runner emblem to replace it.
how do i get the old insert (with ac vents) out without breaking it?
also i just got a accu-form dash cap any one got one? do they look pretty good? (the dash is cracked really bad and previous owner had carpet on it)

I have an accu-form cap on my dash.

Remove the glove box insert to get to the back side of the dash bezel. It's attached with several screws to the dash. The emblem is press fit. Push evenly on all the pins at the same time and it should pop off without breaking.
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

yup you're better off to get the emblem off after you get the insert out. i managed to get the emblem off mine once, but it already had the top of the S broken off.
i also have a dash cap - my only issue was around the dash insert area - the extra thickness made it harder than hell to get the insert fasteners on - i actually ended up trimming around the insert area.
