My own 'nest project

Post by Eric » Sun Nov 18, 2007 7:04 pm

Well, I've been working on this for a little over a year now (not much happened last winter)....as you guys can see, I'm a little slow, but I've done most of the work without help. It's 30'x60' and should give me enough room for all the mopars plus a shop. Anyway, I'll be running wiring soon and hopefully have it insulated in a month or two, and drywalled by next spring. Maybe next year I'll actually have time to get back to messing with the road runners!

Thanks for the good comments guys. This project has been in the planning stage for many years now, and I'm just finally at the place where I can afford it (or at least I thought I could when I started it)!

Gorgeous! Garage-envy is right! If I took a picture of mine right now I'd be laughed out of this place... it's a mess!

Looks great Eric. The only thing that will make it look better is if there were a couple of 71's parked in it . :D

Thanks guys
I hear ya Ryan...can't wait to move the runners in, but it's going to be awhile still. Not moving them in till the drywall is up. I did move the Indy back out of a two year storage and it's sitting in there now...right in the middle. Hopefully I can work around it and not damage anything!
Didn't really have any trouble with planning/zoning or building inspectors. I work in the building industry, so I knew what to expect.
