Finally a forum that caters to one of the most sexiest muscle cars out there. Let me introduce my self, my name is Steve and early this year I became the proud owner of a 1971 GTX / 440-4 Pistol / EV2 / V1X, I’ve been having more questions than answers specially since I have little to no experience under the hood, all I know is that I broke the first rule in buying a muscle car, I Fell In Love. In the next couple of days I will be posting pictures and questions, I hope your expertise will guide me into the path on a true MOPAR enthusiast.

Now that I have one 71, I been tossing up the idea of selling my FJ5 70 Duster project car and tracking down a 71 RR. But only time will tell. But it just seems logical that it would be easier to track down and gather parts for one style of car rather than two.

Thank you guys, you have made my day, last time I got so many compliments it was in prom night in 1992 and thats was because I was wearing a tux. In reallity I have some knowledge about MOPARS, all I know is that I wanted one..or two, for the past 2 years I been searching for the ONE, in the begining I was very interested in the 70 Challenger TA but I wanted a Big Block, 71 cuda hemi or 440-6 was out of the question, to much $$$, Untill I saw this 71 GTX, man what a sexy car, pictures you can't tell how retro and sweet curves this car has. I am honored to belong to this forum and I know you guys will help me with my engine problems....but that is next week, STEVE..........(feel free to ask me any questions. :)

Any pics of the inside?
Is the motor original, the color is wrong for the car.
