I am going crazy tracing this wiring problem I have and I think I may have solved the mystery of the extra wire I have laying around.
My Distributer Vacuum advance retard box has only 1 connector coming from it, I looked at my other 1971 distributer on my Charger R/T and it has 2 connectors coming from it.
I am still leary about this, my 1971 GTX has a tan Vacuum advance retard box and my 1971 Charger R/T has a Black Vacuum advance retard box.
Should they be Black or Tan, also one car is a 4sp and the other has a 727.
What color Tan or Black is on your distributer and is it a 4sp or auto?
Does it have 1 or 2 connector attachments on it?
Anyone have any answers to my questions?
