Yeah smellslike....I feel the past energy of the old cars. I love reading the stories they tell at the old salvage yards. My GTX had a CB antenna base on it. That brought back some old memories. Probaby could hear some old Nazareth or Steely Dan creeping out the speakers if I listen hard enough

I really wanted to drag the GTX home with me from the shop tonight. Hated leaving it at work...Guess that's what my obsession has become..like Linus and his blanket... Well, it's still at work, so I'm not that bad. She'll stay dented up for now, for sure. Those dents tell the story of a GTX who lived life to the fullest. Looks like an old alley cat! But yeah rr6pak, the rust issues will be dealt with. Gotta do a trunk floor and floorboards. I'm going to get a friend to do those parts of the job. The rest of the rust I'll deal with myself. Somebody needs to teach me to weld, why not this GTX? The main thing that's great about this car (and there are so many), is that it will help to break the ice with some resto aspect, because I feel like I can't screw up. I've been intimidated by the thought of the quarter pannel and rocker panel on my 72. So like I say...ice-breaker! I'm sure that the rust will be more than I thought. I'll check out the full thread. Read a sample.

BTW- Finally got her off the trailer today...took a couple of hours to get the LR brake drum unstuck. Lovin' it tho. + she now has police rims on the back!
