instrument cluster removal

To remove The instrument cluster.

1: disconnect battery

2: lower steering coloumn.

3. remove all fastenign screws from cluster

4. disconnect harness

5. disconnect speedometer

6. disconnect wiper plug from back of wiper switch

7. disconnect headlight plug

8. disconnect hvac linkage and vacuum lines

9. move bottom of cluster forward

10. at top of cluster cavity there is a cable tray it will be able to be bent from the back towards the bottom
this will allow you to remove the internal dash harness components if necessary.

note: this does not include radio!!!

optional!!!. to remove cluster with radio you have to remove radio mounting components first.
