You will only regret doing that. If your other transpo is good and reliable, there is absolutely no hurry working on the coolest rides of your 3. Just tuck it in the garage, wait until Spring and see if your mind hasnt changed. It of course helps if it is in running condition and you can take it around the block once in awhile. Mine was down for the last month and a half waiting for the correct oil pickup to be sent to me. Got it back together on Monday, took it for a spin, and viola....interest super-sparked once again. I have lots to do yet, unfortunately, when I get home from work its dark (I have no garage presently). So the only time I really get are Saturdays and Holidays, Sunday is the day for the family with Church and all. If you can do the stuff you need to a little at a time, its more rewarding I think, because you can still drive it.

If it isnt costing you anything to store it......keep it for awhile!!!

Mind you, I could have just as easily said, How Much? and send some pictures!

Hear Hear, don't sell it. If I had known how I would feel after I sold my Road Runner in '93, I never would have parted with it. One of the saddest days of my life, watching it go down the road on someone else's car dolly. Even now, 13 years later I regret the decision. Your Satellite will only rise in value, even as it sits. Blak is right...you'll get to it. Besides, when it REALLY gets sucky is after you sell the car, and suddenly cool cars and car shows start popping up all around you.

Well better late to a topic than never I always say. :p

My yard contains the following

57 Plymouth Plaza (think 2-dr post version of Christine)
65 Plymouth Valiant (Canadian version of the US Dodge Dart)
67 Plymouth Satellite
67 Dodge Polara
70 Plymouth Barracuda
72 Plymouth Roadrunner
95 Dodge Neon
01 Dodge Ram 4x4
07 Dodge Caliber

Of all of these... only the 57 Plymouth is not driveable at this time. The Polara is an all original driver, and the other classics have been restored. The 67 Satellite may soon go up for sale, cuz I just can't find the room to store all of these things (or the time to drive em all for that matter)

As someone elses signature reads.... Its a fine line between a hobby and a mental illness. Couldn't have said it better myself.

MOPAR OR NO CAR!

Two garages, two driveways.

House garage

1. 1989 Toyota Supra Turbo
2. 1986 Cadillac Cimmaron (wife's gutless wonder)
3. 1976 Kawasaki KH500 Triple

House driveway

1. 1987 Mazda B2000 Pickup (RV tow vehicle)

Big Garage

1. 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner
2. 2005 Dutch Star Motor Home (40 ft deisel pusher)
3. 1975 Bultaco Frontera 360

Big Garage driveway

Vacant...unless I have to play car shuffle to get the lift bay open.

All of these with the exception of the Caddy & Mazda I bought brand new and have had ever since.

1. 70 Challenger ragtop
2. 71 RR 440-6
3. Cheby Venture van
4. Cheby 1/2 ton pickup

OK the Cheby's were a good deal, my wife's family works at GM so we get to use their employee discount. I look at it this way, now I have more $$$ to spend on Mopars.

I'm in Iraq now, so I've got mine spread out in mini-storages in Virginia (past duty station) and Texas (where I'll head back to when I get out of this place).

1. '71 GTX, 440, 4 sp, Dana, Air Grabber, Black on Black
2. '67 Fairlane, 796 hp 514
3. '66 Fairlane 'vert, 289
4. '69 GTO Judge - Carousel Red
5. '69 GTO Judge - Antique Gold
6. '69 GTO - Palladium Silver, built 428
7. '66 SS396 Chevelle - Aztec Bronze

All run and drive except for the Carousel Red Judge - needs an engine (let me know if anyone knows where I can get a RA III or RA IV 400).

Scott,

Be careful and take care over there.

BTW is there anything we can send you to make things easier for you.

Maybe you could make a wish list and we could pick something from the list and send it over.

Let me know and I'll see If I can get this group to pull together for ya in some way meaningful.
