Header Gaskets

Post by aerodynamic » Sat Dec 22, 2007 5:04 pm

For anyone considering headers for their ride, these gaskets seem to be the way to go. I remember my last Road Runner with a 440, I was burning through my Mr. Gaskets every few months. When I build my next motor, I think I'll use these.

If you used these on iron heads, would you have issues with galvanic action and corrosion?

Which Mr. Gaskets? I've had real good luck with the Ultra Seals. If you're blowing them out, particularly if it's in the same spot, you should check the header flange for warpage.
