Hood springs
Hi guys,
I'm having trouble with my hood, it won't stay open when the motor is running. The springs will hold the hood open with the motor shut off but when motor is running, the vibrations makes the hood close.
I'm guessing my hood hinge springs are just old and needs replacing. I can only find AAR cuda fibreglass hood springs, anyone know where to find a set that will fit my '71 Air Grabber?

I'm using the hood hinges and springs from my standard hood on my air grabber hood. They won't hold the air grabber hood open. I have to use a prop rod... The AG hood is WAY heavier, and the scoop mechanism adds some of that weight on the FRONT of the hood (think big fulcrum action on the springs over the length of the hood).
