Hi,
Finally registered here. Been a Mopar guy since I could read. Have a 71 Barracuda now. Had a 69 GTX, 71 Charger, 70 Challenger, 09 Challenger, drive a Hellcat, and currently considering 2 projects. 71 RR triple Black kit(partly disassembled), and a 72 GY9 RR P-code. I know both are relatively low product colors. Anybody have a registry that has any level of detail on color breakdown?
Thanks for an help.

Re: New to RRNest
Welcome to the Nest! Sorry the responses are slow - pretty laid back crowd here. I do not know of any color break down for just the 1971 RRs, but we do have numbers for the whole 1971 satellite line. Black was 1.2% of production. No numbers available that I know of for 1972 - but Tawny was 5.5% of production in 1971. I would vote that the 1971 Triple black RR would be the way to go. Black was not very popular back in 1971, but it is very popular now. Good luck!
Scott.

Welcome to the nest!
Can you post any pictures of your two projects?
It would be great to see them.

Welcome to the nest!
sound like you've have and had a fun stable history. Triple black , but I might be slightly prejudiced
The only two colors more rare than black were Citroen yellow and special order. Be forewarned.. they are never clean for more than 15 minutes , HOT AS F#@K in the summer time above 85 degrees.
