I can't take any credit for that. It was already painted when I bought it.anthony wrote: i love the 2 tone, you did a good job in choosing the colors.

Yep, can be... but as an artist I respect Foose's talent, hard work, and the fact that he seems to be a plain DECENT guy. I would LOVE to be in his position.

True hes very talented.I used to be all about Chip, but getting older i figured out some thing about him.But Imagine if every cartoon car you created you put the same type of wheels and paintjob.bruce wrote:Yep, can be... but as an artist I respect Foose's talent, hard work, and the fact that he seems to be a plain DECENT guy. Look beyond just what you see on Overhauling. Check out the Riddler winners he built... unique, state of the art, and every minute detail poured over with obsessive attention. Not all his cars look alike, nor have all been built in "a week" for made-for-TV drama.

It’s a contemporary paint job, which in five years will look dated, and 15 years will look “Retroâ€. I don’t debate that. It will probably get updated before that happens. Frankly, I wouldn’t have painted the car this way had I done it myself.
The element commonly attributed as a Foose-influence is the two-tone paint, and the (over) use of silver. That’s somewhat just a sign of the times. Silver is the most common OEM color these days.
Remember in the 80’s and 90’s where every magazine cover had a red car? Now they are all silver.
They all look similar, but really no more so than any stock Cuda. Keep it in perspective.

There are certain cars at my house I wouldn't want "Foosed" either... but there are others he could have his way with like a cheap hooker...
