i like the design of the 72 grilles, but i HATE that the headlight surrounds are grey...looks strange to me...but, if your car's a 72, have a 72 grille imo...unless you wanted to make some quick cash selling one :P

I like the 72 grill a little better than the 71,
But I like the Road Runner head in the 71
grill the best.

I like the 71 grille on a 71 car and the 72 grille on a 72.....can't stand seeing a 71 grille on a 72, makes me think the car is probably a clone.

Put the 71’grille on it, I’ll take those 72’ grille parts off your hands in a heartbeat.

Seriously, that 72’ grille has to be the most unique design feature of the 72’. Not to mention currently one of the most scarce set-ups in the hobby.

no brainer... 72 all the way

put a 71 on it and everone will presume it is a satellite cloned to a RR

'72 is the only way to go...

My dream RR would be a '71 with a 72 grille and a 73/74 hood.

i just don't understand your reasoning, you have a beautiful 72, why even bring up the thoughts of putting a 71 grille on a 72??besides those 72 grilles go fo about 1200 total, the 71 goes for about 50 to 100??this is a no brainer

since you do not understand my reasoning, I will explain it.........The car is mine and I want it the way I LIKE IT, nOT SO MUCH THE WAY OTHERS LIKE IT..........I really like the 1971 grill and since I have it I was going to install it and keep it that way........I was just asking for others opinions....It is and never will be with me what grill is worth more, As I frankly do not care of the money value, I only care as to what I like on my car....I also have just received the V21 and V25 stripes in the mail today.......Not sure yet if I am going to like them till they are installed...Time will tell (next week I hope)..BTW, the 1972 grill is starting to grow on me a little more, Still not 100 % sure of what grill I will use.

i dislike certain things about the 72s...the lower grille is still slatted like the 71 instead of mesh like a 72....but the biggest thing is that it's that light argent gray...maybe a dark argent would look good...black i've heard would make it all disappear
