Hello all,
It's been a long while since I posted on here. I sold my 72 318 satellite to a good friend of mine about 2 years ago now.
It turns out the 318 I rebuilt is abit too hot for the old 18" radiator. The opening will easily fit a 22" radiator which is what my friend wants to do. My questions are the following:
1. Was a 22" radiator offered for a small block for this body?
2. If not is it possible to modify a BB 22" radiator so that the input is on the right side versus the left.
thanks.

My 22" radiator has the top hose on the right side (when facing the car)and so is the bottom.Part number is 299895 but its for a 70 383 Manual trans.
Maybe this chart can help you,The only problem is you wont know what side the hoses are.

Thanks for the help
I'll try on moparts too.
From your list it looks like a 22" rad was not made for a sb in 72, but one was made for an e body and an a body.
AFIK there was not a difference in the water pump discharge on the 340 vs. the 318 so I think it might be worth trying to find a 22" 340 radiator for a similar year A body.
