flapper door color

Post by bandman » Sat Jan 19, 2008 12:47 pm

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what color the flapper door is? I know it is orange, but which one.

I scrached mine up a little, and I had to retack a weld, and now I need to touch it up before I go in for final assembly (woo-hoo).

Thanks for any help you can give.

Not sure if you're talking about the air grabber flapper door? I don't require there being any welds on it.
Anyway, if that's what you're referring to, I believe it's the same color as air cleaner lid orange.

Thanks Eric.

I did mean the air grabber flapper door. Mine is a reproduction. At the end where the actuator is there is a small tack weld that holds the arm that hangs down from the main bar..........Just working with the materials that are available to me. Plus it is so cold here I have a hard time thinking straight.
