Quarter panel value?

Post by ryangtogtx » Mon May 01, 2006 10:42 pm

Does anyone know what a fair value for quarter panels are? I'm looking at a full driver's side quarter with trunk extensions. Unfortunatly the guy only has one.

Ask Jimmy Boros what they are going for now ... he would be my best information.

How much should I expect to pay for each panel? $200 for a good one?

I think $200 for a clean 71/72 quarter panel would be a great deal. And yep, Jimmy is the guy to ask, I just bought a couple things from him last week. He is Mr. 71/72

For $200 I wouldn't have to ask anyone....I'd be all over it....that's a good price. Guarantee Jimmy would want more....

I emailed moparmarks on moparts and he said he gets 800-900 for a clean full quarter and 150 for the trunk extension. The guy I'm going to buy one from wants 350 which I think is reasonable considering how hard they are to find. Now I only have to find a passenger quarter.

800-900 and I will have my body guy make his own. $350 would be doable for me though. If you run across any you don't want please let me know.

Mark's prices are fair...if that's what he's asking, I'd say that's probably market value at this time...

I am sure you are right but I can't afford $800-$900 a side. I talked with autospecialT today and they said they are making partial repair panels soon- by the end of the summer. He said it will go from the middle of the wheel well to the bottom of the rear bumper. He also said trunk extensions should be ready to go in mid summer. I will go this route if I can't find nothing I can afford.

I have a pair of the original reproduction quarters that were made in Canada....not great quality, but much nicer than making your own.

PM if you're interested.
