On a 72 RR are they stainless or an anodized finish?I have been buffing all of the trim and everything has been fine until iI got to the rear window moldings.The finish is coming off like a layer of paint.It appears to be stainless underneath.

If it is anodized is there a way to remove it?

I think they are stainless steel.
