little help with emblem??

Post by 1971SSP » Tue Apr 25, 2006 6:09 am

can some one tell me where this emblem goes? I know its not a 1971 2 door Satellite emblem. The guy says it has the stud/fastner on the back, claims its a grill emblem for a 71 Satellite....like I said, I know its not for any 71 2 door, but I thought even 4 doors had the red/white/blue grill emblem design....any help?? I'm curious on this one

Thanks, Brian :help: :help:

That's the grille emblem for the low-end '71 Satellite that has rear side windows that don't roll down. Pretty rare piece, especially NOS, but his ad is wrong to call it a Sebring emblem. I don't think it was used on any Sebrings.

The dealer brochure shows that emblem on a satellite coupe but the 71 parts book lists that number for use on R-H models.

Thanks for the info guys....your right Bruce, it must be rare if it was used on those low end cars, you rarely see those to begin with. I have seen plenty of RH cars, and never one of these on them, always the red/white/blue emblem. Would be neat seeing a factory car with this.....
