I want to replace the rusted sunroof assembly on my 72 Roadrunner and theres a rust free 73 or 74 Roadrunner body for sale on eBay with a complete rust free sunroof!!! Here's my questions? Are the roofs the same? - - and will it woork? I'd have to refer this operation to a body man....but have you guys ever done such a thing?. It looks like the quarter window is the only thing a a bit different.

The sunroofs are completely different from what I understand. I know the 71/72's are power, and done by ASC, and were spot welded into the car. The 73/74's were manual crank style, done in-house, and I believe they bolted in. I'm not sure, but I belive the 73/74's were also smaller in size as well. Unfortunately there isn't any crossover in parts between the years.
