Has anyone seen or bought the repo wheel lip moldings for 71-72 Road Runners? How do they compare to originals?

I have repros from Layson's on my Bahama Yellow car. They're not bad. Not all the screw holes lined up with the original locations, and they were not labeled as to which opening they fit, so matching them up to the correct location took awhile. As always with Layson's the word of caution is: buy from them only at the shows, do not mail order....they'll charge you right away, and the part may not ship for months!!!
AKA Butterscotch71....the road runner nest is out to win you over this year!

I preordered them before production began and got them about two years ago. At that time I paid $265 plus tax/shipping IIRC. Not sure what they're going for now...

Right there with you, GTS.
I bid on a used set on eBay this weekend. Allegedly pulled years ago from a '71 GTX. I went up to $350; they sold for $360.

I watched those on ebay.I ask the guy for close up pictures but didn't get any.I would rather do the repos for less money.
