My72 440 Holley may need replaced. What new Holley should I get that would match the standard air cleaner and give the same performance as the original? Thanks

If you don't care about keeping it original, a 750 double pumper (4779)
will work awesome on that 440.

Depends on what your doing with it. If it is a low geared (3.91/4.10)street/strip car the Dp is the way to go.
If your more in the cruiser range- with a 3.55-2.76 your going to want to have a Vacuum Secondary for the drivability.
Your carb should have been about 625-650 cfm from MA. Moving up to a 750 would be a good choice- because holleys tend to have more cfm than they are rated for.
The DEMON line of carbs is also worth taking a look at (IMO). They do a better job of mixing the fuel than the Base Holleys do. Least wise that is the result of the dyno results I have seen in the Demon vs Holley.
