"FEED LEAD" on distributor

Hello All,

I am trying to find out where and how the "FEED LEAD" and ground wire are routed on my 71' RR 440+6.

It show the wires in the factory shop manual but does not show as to how they are routed or to where their respective connecting points are.

This car is a late production LA built with California emissions.

Pictures are attached of the distributor and the photo in the factory shop manual. Hopefully someone out there will have a picture or a descriptive explanation as to how these wires are hooked up.

Thanks a bunch

Carl

Hey Carl,
I think I found some info over on Barry's awesome Hamtramck Historical site. Check these links out - I think this is what you are looking for:

This is the main thumbnail page:

https://www.hamtramck-historical.com/Se ... ts07.shtml

And then I think you are after these pages that describe the six pack distributer and where the wires go (pages 5 & 6):

Hope this helps!
Scott.

Thank You very much. I'll take it from here. The wiring connectors of the pix in the 71 shop manual and on the distributor are a bit different but as long as I know where I going I think I can figure it out.

Thanks Again,

Carl
