1973 Satellite Custom - Suspension Question

Hello!

I was looking at upgrading some front suspension parts on my '73 Satellite (4-door) specifically QA1 products, but I noticed their B-body parts only go up to 1972. Can someone please direct me to any information explaining the differences between the '72 and '73 front suspension and K-frame on that vehicle? I assume some changes were made for the '73 model?

Also, are the front suspension / k-frame / related parts on the 1973 Satellite Sebring (2-door) and Satellite Custom (4-door) interchangeable?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, the 1973-1974 suspension / K-Frames are completely different than the earlier 1971-1972 ones. In 1973 they went with an "Isolator" system which was supposed to absorb a little more of the harshness from rough roads. A description of the new "Torsion-Quiet" suspension can be found here:

I do not know if the 2-door and 4-door front suspension parts are the same - but I would think that they would be interchangeable. It would cost Chrysler a lot less to outfit all their B-Body cars with one suspension system vs. different suspension systems for each model.

Good luck!
Scott.
