Road Runner Nest

In my 71 Clonerunner - when I bought it- it had a rear seat from a 73 (with the buttons on the backrest).
I will be purchasing the correct 1971 back and bottom cover for it in hounds-tooth color, as my front seats are hounds-tooth.
My question is: can the 71 covers fit the 73 frame? or are the frames & foams different?
I did buy a correct 71 back rest complete (but black in color) at a Mopar swap meet years ago.
I could re skin that, but I still have a 73 bottom to contend with.

With not much change to the interiors from 1971 through 1974, I would be very surprised if Ma Mopar changed the rear seat springs much from year to year. A lot of interior parts interchange for these years - with maybe some small exceptions in appearance. I have my rear seat springs stripped from my 71 Satellite, and can post some pictures from different angles for you - and take some measurements if needed. Give me a day or two.

I would concur, these should interchange with the exception of the quarter window trim / sail panels. 71/2 and 73/4 being the change

I think my front seats are not white and black, but grey and black.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Here are the bottom seat frame pics. Also - I thing the grey and black is just an optical illusion - they are likely white and black with the black overpowering the white to make it look grey.

I think you are correct on the color thing - but Legendary is sending me a sample of it to see if it will match my front seats.
In the meantime I'll have to bring the back seat down from the attic and compare the measurements you provided....
