Pink torsion bar inspection marks found

So I removed and degreased my torsion bars and found that the inspection marks are pink (two on the left, one on the right)! Should I be offended? Just kidding, but I've always heard they're brown, but never actually seen them. This is for a 1973 Road Runner. There's also yellow paint dabs on the hex ends.

I was about ready to hit them with the sandblaster when I had a wild hair to just degrease them first to check out the inspection marks. Anyone else have pink, or any other color than brown? lol

Where are the marks? Usually the color marks, or strips and in my car, just dabs indicate which bars you have. According to what the car required. Take picture so you can duplicate, if that matters to you.

Hey Patrick, looks like I show a couple different possibilities for torsion bars on 73-74 B-Bodies, probably depending on suspension package. Bars 3402658 and 659 for 318, 340, 400 cars are 43.6" long and have a 0.92" diameter. Bars 3402660 and 661 are for 318, 360, 400, and 440 cars. They are 0.94" in diameter. Unfortunately I don't have any notes on inspection marks for 73s - but now I have 1 example!
Scott.
