Is it possible that a GTX would come without a tachometer? Or without AC? The last 3 digits are 796 meaning it was the 796th car out of the factory, in September 1970, for the 71 calendar year.
This appears to be a very low option GTX, but what specs did ALL GTX's come with?

Yes, GTXs were built with clocks or tachs. Could be had with either, not both. A/C was optional, not standard.
