I am looking at buying a 73 Sebring Plus triple black with a sunroof, buckets and a console. Wanted to know if anyone has any numbers on how many were made, and what a fair price would be? Will need a complete restore, but body looks pretty good. Thanks for any help!!!!!

Hey Mike,
There were around 1350 Satellites equipped with the Manual Sunroof in 1973. Unfortunately, I don't have a break down between the Satellite Coupe, Satellite Sebring, and the Plus models yet. Sebring Pluses are great cars, they usually have a decent amount of options and they come with the bucket seats as standard. If you decide to get it - make sure that it is a fairly complete car. They don't make a ton of reproduction parts for these cars yet, so tracking down odd ball trim pieces is a pain. The sunroof parts are also a little expensive and sometimes hard to come by. If you decide not to pull the trigger on this one, please forward any info you get on the car so I can get it in the registry. If you can get a pic of the fender tag, that would be super! If you have any other sunroof related questions, just let me know.
Thanks,
Scott Rudge

If you are looking for parts for the sunroof I have a complete 73/74 manual unit in storage. Contact me and we can discuss further as I had a new cable to crank shoe made for it that wears out and cause them to slip. there are a couple of minor parts missing- like 4 screws and the socket head cap screw that attached the handle to the crank. everything else from the pan to the roof skin appears to be there. Does me no good since none of it crosses over to the 71-2 power units.
Good luck on the car- looks like it could be a gem. Hopefully not too much rust underneath from sitting.

Hey Mike, If you have any additional pictures or tag/vin data on the 1975 sunroof RR, the Sunroof Registry would love to see that!
Scott.
