1973 RR headliner

Post by ralley72 » Wed Dec 06, 2017 7:06 pm

ordered a new headliner for my 73 RR from Legendary, it arrived today. Dug it out of the box and its not correct. It's vinyl and off white. I kept pieces from the old liner, its more cloth and has some lines in it.
Does anyone know who sales the correct headliner for my car?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

Can't tell you where to go if Legendary doesn't have the correct pattern for your headliner. I now know these guys personally and can say give them a call and they will help you find exactly what you need for your car. They matched our headliner perfectly on our 72. And yes I compared to the original when installing. Good guys and very knowledgeable, in my opinion. If all else fails send them a sample.

Thanks for the suggestion on sending them a sample. I spoke with Tony or Chris there Friday, said to return it. I'm going to return the one they sent along with a small sample of the original liner and hopefully they can match it up. Don't think I can live with this sheet of vinyl they sent. I have had several 73 RR and Satellites and none of them had this liner that Legendary sent me.

How about the headliner from stockinteriors? Does anyone have one?
