took my old tank out and replaced with a new repo one, my question is do i have to do anything with the vent lines, they are still in place, can i just hook them back up, do they need to be cleaned out or anything or is that inconsequencial? im just putting a survivoir back together not doing a concours car, also the original fuel lines are still on it, i just shot some parts blaster/ rust remover thru them then hit it with compressed air, anything else i need to do there..? thanks guys

I would replace all of the rubber hoses while I was in there, I'm sure they are cracked, and dry rotted after all these years.

Agree to replace the rubber lines. They go up to a canister and 1 line to the breather. Don't block them off.
