How do you know if these were ordered on your vehicle? Interesting thing about mine is when I did the restoration, there was one fender that had them and the other didn't. The fender that did was gold, so I know that was not the original fender. Looked like it went to a Satellite. Inside I have a fasten seat belt light above my steering wheel. Was this part of the light package?

Yep - part of the A01 Light Package. The fender mounted turn signals will show up on your tag as L31 if they were ordered from the factory.

I have hood mounted turn signals. Been a while but I remember they were hard to see either, hood or fender (?) Or is it me?

I can see mine just fine, or were you talking about the ones that were on the hood? also wasn't the map light part of the package?

I always thought those hood/fender signals were just detail items, but it turns out they have a purpose. They are to indicate you are turning to drivers in cars beside you who can't see your rear signals. So it's not important if you see them, but that someone in a car next to you sees them. :)
