Side mirror install

Wondering if anyone would have a diagram with correct side mirror with remote cable run? My 71 was striped when I bought it and can't seem to find any diagrams on it. Any info would be great.

You want to know how they're installed and or positioned in the door? The cable goes forward, from the outside, to the front of the door, back around and to the inside of the door(where your knee would be). They are held in by 2 or 3 plastic clips that snaps into holes in the door. Do you have the metal plate for securing the base of the mirror to the door?
Did a quick google search and came up with this. These are not exactly them but similar. Sorry, I'm having a brain fart on the name of them but have seen them. Hope this helps.
