I wouldn't think so but based more on the equipment from dash to dash than the wiring between years. I know headlight switches interchange- but if you had a 2 or 3 speed wiper the wires are different. Between the basic heater and full AC/ Strato-vent it would vary. Dash back-lighting?,blinkers, power/ light taps, door switch, cigar, flasher/hazzard /door buzzers should be the same.

What I'm saying is the basic wiring to run the car will be there however, you may have to modify the harness depending on what equipment your car has vs the car the harness came out of. If your starting from scratch it may be wise to buy a repop harness with wired exactly for the way your car is / will be optioned.

Basic harness is the same but you have to add specific harness for ac, clock/tach, lamps group etc.

FYI, all four years have different part numbers in the Classic Industries catalog, so they are not technically the same. The trick is to know what changed and what would need to be modified if you want to go that route.

The dash harness feeds what they call "rear lighting harness", which is the wiring running along the left door sill, and feeding accessories in the rear of the car, the left rear marker, and the actual rear lighting harness for the rear lighting and right rear marker. Changes in the dash harness may actually be pertaining to something back there. Hard to know without having electrical drawings for the years in question.

I have them for 71 and 72, and 72 is not a "carryover" drawing. Something is different, but without extensive study, I can't say what.

If you are not electrically inclined and ready to start altering wiring, I'd be wary of buying a harness for a different year. You might call M & H tech support and see if they'll tell you what the difference is.

Installed a 1973 harness on my 1972. Fit real nice. Some wire color are different, got rid of the seat belt interlock harness and use 1972 heater(no ac) harness.

For all the goofing around you avoid, not to mention fighting 40 year old cracking and grime- probably the best bet.
