72 Green Dash Pad Paint Question

Post by 2Tone72RR » Fri Jan 08, 2016 8:11 pm

We just got a bright blue dash pad and need a color change to make it green to match our interior in the roadrunner. We purchased the OER interior paints PP444 (which is what I thought we needed) and PP434 to see if it was a closer match. Neither match the original color of the dash pad (comparing to color that was under RH roadrunner insert).

Have any of you refinished a dash pad in green (yes, I know that sounds wrong LOL) and if so, what did you use to get the right color? It appears SEM doesn't offer a "color coat" in green so that's out too.

Ideas?

I've had good luck with Herb's Parts interior paint. I haven't sprayed green but have used white ,black and burnt orange with good results.
