Might help if you state what year and trim level, but that looks wrong to me. Maybe an A or E body seat? They were less plush. A-body probably narrower. E-bodies in general were as wide as B-bodies, but can't say for certain about the seat. Mine is away at winter storage.

I think not only should it be wider, it should also sit up higher.

I was wondering if the panels are the right ones as well.

Pictures from the Dealer's Guidebook suggest that those are not Roadrunner upper panels. Look like Satellite Sebring.

Did I miss something ? - Black/White - why is the seat blue?

SSP panels. Satellite looked alike. Are those re-pops.

According to the dealer guide, which I realize isn't necessarily gospel, the GTX and SSP had the woodgrain on the upper panels. The GTX I can vouch for. See the attached. The third pic is the back seat of a 71 SSP survivor I almost bought a while back.

The black rectangular areas surrounded by what appears to be silver or stainless on the white panels pictured look like the front door trim shown for Sebring. Unfortunately, they don't show the rear seats and panels.

The top portion is not the issue. My Sebring lower part was the same as the SSP. What I was talking about was how the bottom appears to have been cut or it was made that way. I think that it should extend down next to the seat instead of even with the top of the seat.

Here are some better pictures, the seats that came from the factory were originally white. When I got the car it didn't have seats. I purchased these seats from the Internet 12 years ago just as you see them, I had planned on recovering them with new covers to match the original interior. Just recently removed the car from storage and started restoration.

Thanks for helping. If you click on the pictures I think you can see them full size.

By the time you get carpeting under there and center the seat a little, it should close the gap between the seat and the lower panel.

From what I see I think that the one side panel is just warped, because it should be pushed up against the seat. Also, the upper panel is a Road Runner deluxe panel, but the seats are the standard cheap seat cover covers. I'd try finding a different side panel to see if it helps. My seat doesn't have that part in the rear that looks like a cut out.

Attaching a pic of a lower panel out of my GTX. Looks about the same as yours.

These plastic panels are made of ABS, which is highly resistant to warping unless exposed to extremely high temps.

The seat bottom you have is too narrow, which is highlighted by the photos. The seat back fits correctly against the trim panels. Maybe the bottom is a poorly done recover, missing some padding on the sides?

Also those are Challenger seat covers and probably the frames are too so that's probably the problem.
