Does any one know if there is a replacement molding clip for the PN 6003313 for the vinyl top on my 71 SSP?

badfast,
Many of us probably won't recognize the part by its part number, including myself. Could you describe which moulding strip you are talking about - or do you have an example picture of the clip you could post. A picture helps immensely. R/T Specialties makes a lot of clips - have you looked there? Good Luck!
Scott.

I think I know what you're talking about. As the other member suggested, post a picture to be sure. Might have some

I went hunting for these not too long ago for the full vinyl top trim and belt molding on our 72. If they are the same for your 71 then I think you have the incorrect part number. The Chrysler p/n is 6003133, not 6003313. Here is a pic of the clips:

I purchased the last 10 a nice fellow in Georgia had off Ebay a month or two ago. Still needed a couple so I kept looking. As far as I can find the only place left with these is bradsnosparts.com. The last time I talked with him he still had more than 100 left. I just received my order from him and they look correct to me.

Hope this helps!

Rick

Those are the ones for my car I got. In fact, I have a crap load left over. FYI-You might have to trim those little ears down to fit inside some trim, I did. Other than that, worked as advertised. If I remeber, that's the correct P/N Rick stated. It's hard to compare what the FSM and P/N is when the FSM don't show what the clip looks like. My friends '69, for instance, showed MANY different P/N's that said "clip" but no picture to compare apples to oranges. Also, BE CAREFUL with them. I have a vinyl top on my car and they can be a bugger to get them to get on the rivets for the trim. I almost forgot-on the '71 with the half trim roof, the metal clips I found new at a tool store where I live. They had OE clips, screws, etc, etc, etc, a butt load. Brand new and cheap!

Probably too late to help those on the thread, but we just had the tooling built to make these again, and the bucket load shows up in about 4-5 weeks. The prototypes worked just fine on my GTX's belt moldings... and allowed me to remove the one thinner charger 6003147 I stuffed in one place in hopes of it doing something.

Just got a large box of these, so if anyone needs them, they're around again!
