Which end goes to the battery tray and which to the inner fender. It only comes with I speed nut/j clip.. What goes on the other end?

Best i can tell without taking mine off my 71 ss, the round end goes to the inner fender. The clip goes over the oval-shaped end with a bolt coming down from the battery tray. One would think it would come with two bolts.
