72 Road Runner Expansion Valve

Post by wejewill » Thu Jun 25, 2015 12:16 pm

I am searching for a replacement expansion valve for my 72 Road Runner. I have found several parts and I am not sure which one would work. The first part looks like the one on my car right now: I am not promoting any of these sites just trying to buy the right part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, need the heater nipples for the hoses

You may want to explain the "right" part. Is it just to control the heat or is it going to be a concours restoration? I think you will be looking for a while to find a nos Chrysler part and it wont be cheap. I replaced an oem "Chrysler" one that was on my Challenger and the aftermarket one was a bit different looking but worked the same. Here is one on Year one.
