Steering column

Post by 71bird » Sat Apr 18, 2015 10:37 pm

My steering column shaft has been collapsed, and I need to fix it. Does anybody know the correct length fir a 71 power steering column shaft? I know how to fix it, but not the length.

not sure about the length but I would imagine if you just put on the steering coupler on the ps box, as long as the shaft is sitting the correct distance inside the coupler, it should be fine. I can't remember the distance of the coupler to the dent mark on the shaft - 11/32? its been awhile
400 stroked to 470ci, 3:55 Eaton true trac, slightly upgraded suspension lol
