Howdy folks....

Post by 71GTX » Wed Apr 08, 2015 8:42 pm

Trying to gather the needed pieces to finish up my conversion from an Auto to Manual on my 71 GTX....I have the 18 spline 4 speed and the clutch pedals....not sure of what size flywheel and such to get....putting in bucket seats, so want the appropriate shifter and rods....not sure which way to move on this....but wanting to spend my money wisely on the correct stuff the first time around....Todd

You can call Brewers performance, or Passon performance, and tell them what you have, and they can supply the rest according to what performance level you want from bell housing to shifter. Are you going to have a console? And have you installed the bucket seat tunnel yet? Do you have the fire wall bracing for a manual?

I still have the auto floor tub, someone, somewhere along the way, just carved up the tunnel and put two shift levers out of the tunnel....(racing) not sure....but I am wanting to do this right....I'll check with Brewers or Passions....Thank you kindly.....
