I need a good pic of the rear e- brake cable to brake shoe lever or how it hooks to the lever

how does the cable hook into the groove ? just between the ball and spring?

Yes. Just pull the spring away from the ball end and voila!

step 1 make sure you loosen the E-brake adjusting bolt

emergency brake cable help
