Door weatherstrip question

Post by rr6pak » Tue Jan 20, 2015 1:06 am

I'm looking for the door weatherstrip that is on the FRONT of the door glass. NOT the whole door weatherstrip but the little one that sits in FRONT of the glass. Does anyone know where to get this? Anyone have a picture?

If I remember correctly, the wide rubber piece at the top front of the door is attached to the rubber strip that runs down and seals the door to the body. I'll try to remember to take a photo tonight.

I'd appreciate it Eric. I installed all new weatherstrips on the doors. Just need the front of the door glass. What it looks like and if it is available. Can't seem to find it and don't know if I still have the originals.

I was wrong, the rear ones sort of connect to the weatherstrip, the fronts are separate. Photos of the originals (front and rear) on my car...

Thanks Eric!

I got all of them but the front ones. Anyone know who has them?

The first two pictures Eric posted are the ones I need. Does anyone know where to get them?

I looked at several sites and found the rear seals, but not the fronts for some reason. I have an extra driver side. Ron.

Not both? Yea, I've been looking as well. No one has them. They have everything else, but not that one. Weird

Steele Rubber has those seals. The only place I forgot to check. Must be getting Alzheimers or something. Anyway, FWI, if anyone is looking for them, part number is 70-1661-73
