large red plug under hood

I have a large red plug that branches off of the harness for the electronic control module on my 72 Roadrunner clone. The car was originally a Satellite Sebring, 318, automatic. Does anyone know that would be for?

My car is a 71 Sebring 318 auto. It has no large red plug. Sorry I can't be much help.
